The winter months prove tricky for enjoying the sunshine but as Spring is budding we thought what better time to dip into the ice cold, turquoise quarry pools of St Austell in Cornwall. A 5am rise is tricky for anyone and convincing two other university students to join me at the crack of dawn to go swimming in freezing bottomless pits was more than tricky. But, armed with a cosy fire, hot coffee and delicious hot cross buns, Bridie, Dan and myself have never felt fresh so revived. We might even have to make it a regular occurrence.

Tregothnan Tea
The blog is finally here and I thought I start it off with a recent project on Tregothnan Tea, the only tea plantation in the UK. I had an incredible time photographing it, walking around the Estate and tasting all the marvellous teas. Tucked away in the rolling Cornish hills with amazing sights, smells and tastes its well worth a visit.
